This weekend Martha and I did a little decorating to our apartment. I love this place even more now! And everything was a great deal, of course! Check it out:
New curtains
A new wall-hanging to go on the brick wall. I was looking for just the right thing, and this one jumped out at me. (So did the price, at only 20 bucks.)
A new table lamp. Our living room has an overhead ceiling fan with lights, but sometimes that's just too much light. This lamp is much nicer.
And I thought I'd try a plant again. This time I also bought a plant stand so he'll get more light from the window, and so I'll see him and *remember* to water him. Wish me luck!

Looks nice , this might be a dumb question, but how to hang something on brick?
Magic...or luck out and have a screw already sticking out of the wall when you move in.
I don't know what happened,but I thought I left a comment the other day.Oh well. Like the upgrades,including the plant, although I still am all about silk ones(-:. My amarillis that I recieved at Christmas is starting to open up. I can hardly believe that it grew in my house!
