Last night a bunch of us girls went out for Amy's bachelorette party. It was a lot of fun. We went to Coach Insignia, which is the fancy-pants restaurant at the top of the Ren Cen in downtown Detroit. It was my first time there, and it was great! We got to watch the sun set over the river, and had a great view of the city and Canada.
About half of us got there before the other girls, so we strolled around the perimeter of the restaurant, taking in the view. We must have caught the attention of a few men, because after all of us arrived and we ordered our drinks, our waiter told us that a few gentleman wanted our first round of drinks to be on them! We wondered if they knew they were paying for the drinks of 15 people - not just 5 or 6! They picked up over $200 worth of drinks. It was the first time a stranger bought a drink for me...it was kind of fun! :-)
