Random Thoughts

I have lived in the big city for almost 4 years now, and have just seen my very first rat. Thankfully, he's smashed dead in the street in front of my house. If there's going to be a rat that close to my house, that's the condition I want it in - dead.

I came home from work on Friday night with a big "to do" list of stuff to get done this weekend. Very few items on that list got accomplished...oh well.

For some reason I had to go to "Babies R Us" today...there is an inordante amount of things parents can buy for their babies. It's amazing that some kids (like me) grew up so well even without a fancy swing like this.

Dan and Andrea have asked me to be godmother to little Thor! I'm super excited, and very flattered. It's my first time being a godmother...I hope I do it right.

I wish getting up from Sunday afternoon naps wasn't so hard...

That means you have to talk in an italian accent, wear lots of gold jewelry and pack heat. We have to do it for little jacob- so far we havn't had to take anyone out to "the pier" to have "chats" about "business deals".

Lisa you crack me up.. Now Amanda about the swing, I borrowed one when you were little and you had to crank it by hand..it was good wihile you were alseep in it,but when it ran out it made such a loud sound when winding. The battery ones are much better, but that one is over the top. It also is quiet amazing that you and Emily turned out so well without all those wonderful gadgets.

You know that the Sunday afternoon nap thing is part of your heritage.
