This past weekend was full of all sorts of fun stuff - a wedding rehersal on Friday, and a baby shower and wedding on Saturday. It all went great, even if it was a little exhausting.
Amy and Andy's wedding was beautiful, and everyone had a great time. Although one note to everyone out there: find a bakery that will deliver your cake! Lisa B. gets major props for helping me pick up and transport their cake on Saturday morning. Without her steady hand, there may have been a cake disaster!
I realized that the toasts at the reception were done just right. Too often the toasts are lacking, but these were great. The matron of honor's (bride's sister) toast was touching and sentimental, and she got teary just a bit, while the best man's (friend of the groom) toast was funny and yet thoughtful.
All in all, it was a great wedding, and a great celebration with great company.
