Thanks to Uncle Sam's gift (or just giving me back the money he owe me), I bought myself a little gift: a Palm Pilot. I've been wanting one for a while, and now I feel totally cool for having one.
I've booked my vacation out to Maine this summer. I can't wait! I didn't really get a vacation last summer, so this should be a special treat.

Yesterday I was treated to a special morning at the DIA's Ansel Adams exhibit. It was really cool to see his actual work - not just the posters that everyone and their brother have hanging in their homes. They had one of my favorites there, Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico:
This is one of the most famous landscape photographs ever taken...so I guess I'm not alone in my sentiments towards it.

Well, congrats on your gift to self. Dad would like one of those too, right after he gets himself a bluetooth. He has great need for both of these with his heavy social schedule.
