Caffeinated Ant

A while back Amy and I joined Gevalia - the coffee mail order service. It's really too expensive, but we joined so we could get a free coffee pot (pictured at left). So this coffee pot is great, and I have been enjoying it. Up until this week that is.

You will notice there is a handy gage on the right side of the pot telling you how much water you have put in. I filled up the pot one morning and saw an ant stuck in this gage - still alive. So I dumped out all the water, believing that would flush him out. Wrong. I have tried just about everything I can think of sort of taking the coffee pot apart to get that ant out. I have no idea how it got in there. It has now been about 3 days that the ant has been stuck in this gage. It's still in there, and it's still alive. Needless to say, I'm not using the coffee pot right now, and am thankful we still have our old one that I can use. I think the ant kind of likes its new home.

Amanda, I suggest obtaining one of those water pics, turning it on to a pretty high setting, aiming it into the gage area and blasting the ant outta there. It would probably be one of the most exciting experiences of his ant life, along with the high he's (or she's) probably experiencing from all the coffee fumes.

I thought I'd leave my 2 sense about the single things, since I'm single too and all. The Lord really used Harvey Carey to help me understand that even though our culture gives the message that it's better to be married, GOD'S WORD expresses that it is just the
opposite.

Dad and I hope that your OLD coffee pot is in good working order for the weekend. You know we need our coffee in the morning.

If you can get in there a arts and crafts pipe cleaner may work.
