God is Always Near Though

So my previous post was a little rant about how overwhelmed and exhausted I've been the last week. I've been trying hard to every morning turn all this work over to God, and trusting He will give me the strength and wisdom to be able to hang on. This morning nature gave me a clear reminder of God's presence: To get to work this morning I had to travel east on Michigan Ave. As I approached Michigan, I could see to an amazing sunrise in the east (off to my left), while the rest of the sky was gray and cloudy. That alone was a great reminder of God's faithfulness. Before I could travel east on this road though, I had to first turn west (and do a "Michigan turnaround"). I turned west, to where the sky was all gray and overcast - except for an amazing rainbow cutting through the gloom. I could see both ends of it, and the top of the arch! I've never experienced anything like it - a brillant sunrise to the east, and a full rainbow in an overcast sky in the opposite direction.

Ahh...the faithfulness and glory of God.

Isn't it amazing how GOd shows us that he hears us and knows our hearts?

I LOVE that God showed you this, and I LOVE that it was a rainbow over Detroit.
