I'm overwhelmed like crazy. The next two weeks at work are going to be especially challenging. On top of the huge, crazy project that we're in the middle of, an added situation in the office has risen that only fuels my freaking-outness. I want to be just about anywhere but here. I really want to be in Maine. Only 6 more weeks until my vacation! Lord, help me to hang on!
On another note, I just watched the Granholm/DeVos debate...the first of three debates. For all her shortcomings, Granholm is an amazingly charismatic and engaging public speaker. Sorry to say she kicked DeVos's butt in this debate...although I was getting very tired of her oft-used phrase "everyday citizen"...and DeVos was smiling so much it looked painful.

I'll tell you what will be more painful, four more years of a charismatic and engaing public speaker running the state of Michigan who knows absolutely nothing about economic revival or Midwestern values. At least Dick Devos was born in Michigan not to mention the United States!
Not to mention that we are never moving back to the once great state of Michigan unless the state can finally move back to its more conservative roots. At least Maine has two senators who claim to be conservatives.
Dick Devos has actually created jobs and met payroll and they EXPORT products to China made by MI workers. We need more job makers like that, not job exporters like Jenny
