The Case of the Stolen Silverware

So, I'm in Lansing for part of this week. Tuesday night I went out to dinner with some co-workers, and got this delicious chocolate mousse pie for dessert. I couldn't finish it all at the restaurant, so I got it boxed up to go, figuring I'd want to finish the rest of it later that evening at the hotel.

However, upon returning to the hotel, I realized I had no utensil to eat the pie with. Nothing in the room that could serve as an eating utensil either. As luck would have it though, on the floor in front of the room across the hall from me, was a room service tray that had yet to be picked up. On the tray was an un-used spoon. Score!

After stepping out into the hall, and looking both ways (twice), I swooped in and grabbed the spoon off the tray. Chocolate mousse pie...yumm.

Not to fear, the spoon was well-washed before it I used it. That's not too gross, is it? I mean come on, we're talking chocolate mousse here. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
