I haven't written any updates for a while, which is not due to a lack of anything happening in my life. A lot has happened in my family over the past month. I don't really feel like going in to all the details here. In a nutshell, I can say I've been reflecting a lot over the past month on God's sovereignty and provision, trusting Him, and learning more to lean on Him and His Word in times of uncertainty, praise, and fear. Words that have been especially helpful are:
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea...The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress." - Psalm 46: 1, 7
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6
