Maine 2008

My yearly vacation to New England had a different twist to it this year, but was enjoyable in all its forms, even when I caught Isaac pooping in his pants during church. That's a story that will come back to haunt him in the coming years!

Kaylee showing off her birthday haul. Unfortunately the picture doesn't show very well the super-cute (Timberland) boots she's wearing. She was stylin'!

Not to be outdone, Isaac needed to have his picture taken too, in his Awana Cubbies vest. He takes his Cubbies very seriously, as you can see.

This picture is a vain attempt to capture the gorgeousness of a Maine autumn. It's much better in person.

Who doesn't dress like a pirate when you're out for a nice afternoon hike in the woods? How else do you eat a PB&J sandwich, except by eating it off your sword?

Kaylee looooves her hoodies!

Even with a neck brace and a torn-up hand, Matt shows he is one cool guy, except he would be much cooler if he was wearing a Marmot fleece. Too bad he doesn't have one, anymore.

Emily, on the other hand is not quite a cool with her swollen, discolored fingers. Very appropriate for Halloween.

No injuries will stop us from hiking out onto the rocks!

Kaylee partook of our free Harry & David truffles. Emily is very brave to be holding her while wearing a white sweater. Moms have no fear!
