On Wednesday all us girls had a roommates night out at the Detroit Beer Company for a belated celebration of Amy's birthday. It was a blast, and a great way to enjoy Amy's company before she runs off with some guy to Chicago. Amy has officially been my longest-running roommate - almost four years! (And we still get along!) She's a beautiful woman with a heart full of passion for Jesus and the city. There's one lucky guy in Chicago!

so hopefully i just have PMS, but i'm totally tearing up at this and the thought leaving you girls and my beloved detroit. but i just got off the phone with andy and i was totally crying then because he was being so sweet and telling me how much he missed me and wishes we were married already. remember when you were thinking of moving to chicago and i was sad about that? you really have been a great roommate... man, God is crazy-sovereign... so fun that he "randomly" but us together. love you, friend!! you really should run off to chicago for a weekend sometime yourself.
I hope Amy reads this as well. I know that I do not have PMS, but what Amy said about God bringing you two together as roomates brought tears to my eyes as well. God is good and I'm glad you had almost 4 years(?) to build a realtionship that will last even though many miles apart.
