Some Highlights

Here's some highlights from the past few days:

• Finally finishing and mailing out this huge-ass, $23 million application to the federal government. It was kind of a trick finding a box to mail a 5-inch stack of paper to Washington in!
• Being reminded this weekend that close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades (fortunately, the issue at hand was horseshoes...not hand grenades).
• Installing my window unit air conditioner. It may be 90 degrees in the rest of the house, but my bedroom is nice and comfy!
• Seeing the new Marlow parents and, naturally, their new baby boy! What a cutie!
• Having my roommate's friend loan her the first season of "The Office"...with the second season promised as well. Awesome!
