Lessons from Maine

What I've learned from my vacation:

  • Putting a toddler's diaper on backwards may result in poop being smeared down said toddler's legs.
  • There is a difference between canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie filling.
  • A baby can be smiling one second and then screw her face into a cry the very next second.
  • Going for a "walk" with a 19-month old toddler usually turns into a "carry".
  • In Maine you can find blueberry flavored coffee and blueberry flavored beer - yummy!
  • In a house with two grandparents and an aunt, no kid is going to be left crying for very long.
  • An "ewer" is a type of water pitcher, and a lima bean may or may not be a vegetable, depending on who you ask.

We had a great time with you Mandy! We hope you had a fun time. After we dropped you off Issac kept saying "Manana coming". It was pretty sweet...

How embarrassing, I spelled my own child's name wrong on my comment. I guess that is what happens when you are typing while holding a screaming baby.

The discussion on lima beans had to be interesting. Was Isaac involved in that? Glad you had a good time.

Note:
I have seen babies project poop in many directions when the diaper IS on correctly...don't feel bad. And - I have to say I love it that your family calls you Mandy. I am glad that you had a good time. I can't wait to see you in a month!
