Quick Update

It's been a while since I've written anything. This past week had me house-sitting for my pastor and his wife, which is always a treat. Last weekend I was home for a cousin's wedding, and got to see my sister and brother-in-law and nephew again (pictures to come). It was great to see them - they are now in Europe for a vacation. In the words of Napoleon Dynamite - Lucky! Hopefully they'll bring back a good souvenir for me. :-)

Thanks to Andrea, I've just started reading "The DaVicnci Code". With all the hype around the book and movie I figure I should check it out.

I finally got my garden planted. The seeds I had attempted to start inside didn't really amount to anything. I don't think they got enough light. My peppers did start to sprout, but then I was lack in watering them and they kind of shriveled up. I ended up buying peppers and tomatoes already started. I planted more seeds outside - beans, cucumbers, cilantro, oregano, and onions. I would have done basil again, but those seeds are under my porch (see previous post). We'll see what happens!
