A Day Off

In light of the fact that I've been working a lot lately, I took yesterday (Friday) as a vacation day. I spent the majority of the day in the lovely village of Grosse Pointe. I was determined to spend the day doing nothing "productive", so I spent some time browsing through the books at Borders (and ended up buying the book "Defiance", which was recently made into a movie which I saw a few weeks ago.) I had a leisurely lunch at Panera, got some good deals at Ann Taylor Loft and the Gap (doing my part to stimulate the economy), spent some time at Caribou Coffee enjoying a mocha and my new book, and topped it all off with a massage. Ahh...a great day!

Now I'm on to working my way through my Saturday "to-do" list. Too bad vacation days can't last forever!
