In October our group enjoyed our annual pumpkin carving fun. As this was Jesse's first Halloween, he sat in on the fun as well. I tried to give him a knife to let him carve a pumpkin, but Andrea would have none of that.
The first weekend of November I traveled to the frozen north (Gaylord) to see my dear friend Lisa before her babe comes. Here we are at the famed "Brother" cafe, where I enjoyed a chocolate chai tea which really does, as Paul would say, "taste like a chocolate-covered graham cracker". Yumm!

This fall also marked the arrival of little Zumaya into the Piggott family. He's very happy in his new home. Now Karen and I are trying to convince Jay he (Zumaya that is, not Jay) needs a little buddy to keep him company.

Just last night Andrea and Dan's family pulled off a surprise party for Dan's 30th birthday. Good ol' Juan's Hacienda was the gathering place for many family and friends, and Dan was surprised!
He also got a Nintendo Wii, which we're all looking forward to using on New Year's!
