Free Coffee, the Italians, and honey

Yesterday in our mailbox was a flyer from Caribou Coffee addressed to "the Coffee Lover at...". On this flyer was a coupon for a **free** drink from Caribou- any kind, any size. Luckily, I was the one to collect the mail that day, so I totally snagged that coupon before my roommates could. Ha!

My roommates and I have been having an on-going debate about the pronunciation of the word "Italian". I tend to pronounce it like "Eye-talian", while my roommate insists it is pronounced with a short "I" (like the "I"in "It"). I think either could be correct, after all a reporter on NPR repeatedly pronounced the word "Eye-talian". I mean, come on - if NPR does it, it must be right - right?

Oh, and evidently, honey never goes bad. So the next time you want to throw out a nearly-empty bottle of honey that has been reheated so many times the bottle is partially melted and the honey is all crystallized - don't, because some in your house will insist that honey is still "good". Whatever.

Honey never goes bad. Haven't you ever heard that they store honey in the tombs of mummies and egyptian kings b/c it will last forever.

And yes who can forget the ride to Gaylord with the famous conversation between you and Andrea. I am cracking up.
